You will learn how to do all the exercises.
Anatomy, terminology, warm-ups & cool-downs, health and safety, class management and venue requirements will be covered.
WHAT LEARNING MATERIALS DO I RECEIVE WITH MY COURSE?

This manual contains a number of other resources including an example of a warm-up, cool-down, lesson plan and indemnity template, health and safety template and photographs of all the different moves.
All students are entitled to access our extensive online video library, featuring videos of each individual move and conditioning exercises.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS?
Yes – we are happy to offer a range of installment plans, EFT payments & we do accept PAYPAL.
Different installment plans are available which allow you to pay your training course at regular intervals, be it weekly, or monthly. Please contact us for further information.
Please note - access to online training will only be granted once the course has been paid off in full.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING AND ONLINE TRAINING?
Both courses are identical in terms of content and structure.
We recommend 50 practice hours - This can be made up by practicing the individual skills or moves taught on the course to perfect your own technique, attending classes, workshops or CPD (continuing professional development) in that discipline, practicing your teaching and spotting technique in a 1-2-1 or group environment, co-teaching or assisting in existing classes, working with your mentor and observing other instructors lessons.
Face to Face training:
The Face to Face course is an additional R1,500.00 on top of the Online Course fee.
You will attend one of our pre-arranged Instructor Training Courses.
You will be asked to ‘pre-read’ the course theory online and watch the associated videos, prior to attending.
You will need to complete a range of learning tasks and prepare your assessment paperwork. We estimate that this will take approximately 12-16 hours.
The first day of this course, will be spent going over the practical skills in depth and answering any questions you may have.
The second day will be spent completing your teaching assessment.
All the practical elements of the face-to face course have been filmed and are available on the online training website, this will enable you to work through the course, unit by unit, at your own pace.
You will be supported throughout the course by your online mentor, who will assist you with any questions and issues you might have.
On completion of the course, you submit your assessment in video form.
We estimate each level will take approximately 20-30 hours to complete, with 4-6 hours allocated for learning tasks and assessment preparation.
HOW DOES THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS WORK?
For each course, you will be asked to complete a two part assessment.
This consists of an Instructor Workbook (theory test) and a Practical Assessment (teaching an hour long beginners class & doing a 100% of the course moves individually).
If you decide on the Face to Face training, your assessment will be completed on the second day of training.
You will need to arrive ready to take your course assessment by preparing any learning tasks/theory work or assessment paperwork in advance - full details can be found in your Instructor Training Manual.
If you do not feel ready to take your assessment at this point, you will be offered the opportunity to attend on an alternative date – or you can submit your assessment via video.
For all online learners, any theory assessments will be completed online, with practical assessments submitted via video to your online mentor.
At every level, our accredited assessors will provide you with feedback on the assessments submitted.
If you are unsuccessful, a full action plan to help you resubmit and assist you to complete the course will be done.
WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO FILM A PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT?
If you are unable to film a practical assessment, where available, we will provide you with the option of attending one of our assessment days. There you will be able to complete your assessment in person, at one of our two assessment venues in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.
This could be because you have taken an online training course and are struggling to find participants, or are having technical problems recording an assessment video.
There may be a nominal administration fee of R250.00 for this service.
If you are unable to complete your assessment within the allocated year time frame, we will aim to provide you with an alternative assessment opportunity.
This may be due to a medical condition, accident or personal crisis. In some cases, you may be asked to provide evidence, such as a doctor’s certificate.
All deferrals will be dealt with on a case by case basis and an admin fee of R250.00 may be charged if an extension is granted.
Course extensions range from 12 weeks to 24 months, depending on the individual circumstances.
If you are unable to find a suitable venue, cannot attend one of our face to face assessment days or do not have the equipment to film a practical assessment, please do not hesitate to contact US, as we may be able to help.
ONCE I HAVE PASSED MY TRAINING – WILL I BE INSURED?
No - However completion of this course may help you to get insurance, or may reduce your insurance premiums, as the certificate from your course will demonstrate proof of training.
